Do I need special sensors?
No. Satellite monitoring works on every farm on Earth — no sensors required. The Foggia pilot pairs satellites with in-ground sensors Solco installs: ESP32 microcontrollers with LoRaWAN radios. Broader sensor rollout is on the roadmap after Foggia.
What data sources does Solco use?
Two sources at pilot stage: Sentinel-2 satellite imagery (European Space Agency, free, every 2-3 days) and Open-Meteo weather forecasts. Sentinel-2 measures NDVI — a proven crop health indicator used across precision agriculture. No SkySat, no proprietary data.
Is my field data private?
Yes. Your data belongs to you. We encrypt everything in transit and storage. We never share your field information with anyone. You can export or delete your data whenever you want.
How soon will I see results?
The pilot is live in Foggia, Italy — farms there are already receiving daily morning reports. New farms are onboarded gradually. Pre-register and we'll be in touch when we're ready for your area.
